LoveFilm brings movie streaming to PS3

But YouTube announcement has been removed

LoveFilm has revealed it will make its online film rental service available to PlayStation 3 users from next month.

Users of the Sony games console that already subscribe to LoveFilm will be able to browse and stream "thousands of films" through an app on the Sony console's dashboard.

It is also thought free trials will be available to PS3 users as an incentive for Brits to sign up.

The announcement was initially made via a clip on the PS3 YouTube channel. However, this has since been removed.

LoveFilm is also available through Samsung internet-connected TVs.
