We7 offers two-week free trial of Android app

Stream as many tracks as you like from 6 million songs

We7 has made the full version of its music-sharing app available to smartphones running Google Android.

The 'Premium Plus' app, which costs £9.99, allows Android smartphone users to search for artists, songs and albums in We7’s six million track catalogue and then stream as many songs as they like. Alternatively, users can cache the tracks to their phone so they can be played when there is no internet connection.

The app also allows access to playlists created via We7's online accounts, as well as the ability to create new playlists directly from their handset.

"We love giving people access to their favourite music and enabling them to consume it, wherever and however they want it. The new Android app version continues to extend our mobile strategy," said Steve Purdham, we7 CEO.

We7 also revealed Android users can access a two-week free trial of the app, before deciding whether they want to fork out £9.99 to purchase the software.

Purdham said that many consumers have been frustrated with mobile music apps in the past as although the apps are 'free' they do not allows users to listen to music.

"We wanted to resolve this, that’s why we’ve included the free trial so users can sign up and immediately play music."

The We7 Premium Plus app can be downloaded from the Android Market now.
