Is this the face of Windows 7, the follow-up to Windows Vista that's not due out until late 2009 or early 2010?
That's what some bloggers are claiming in posts that appeared over the weekend. Windows 7 Milestone 1 was reportedly sent out to Microsoft's PC partners earlier this month and copies of the OS have apparently appeared on Bit Torrent file-sharing networks.

While most reports said the torrents that are supposed to be Windows 7 don't actually contain the software, a couple of web users claim to have installed and used it.

Spartan Noken said: well well Vista was so bad Microsoft have had to re-code a new OS well if there going to take more time with this OS it my just work so till then i will stay with XP as vista will not run 1 of my games -- allthou i did have a vista rating of 48 as that was what my CPU got
