Epson expands Synnex relationship

Print vendor, Epson has extended its distribution partnership with Synnex adding the SureColor T Series range to its portfolio.

The high-speed, large format printers are aimed at the CAD, GIS, poster and education markets, and are specifically designed for the production of plans, drawings, presentations, maps, and short run posters.

The 44-inch SureColor SC-T7000, 36-inch SC-T5000 and 24-inch SC-T3000 offer water resistant pigment inks, fast print speeds and low running costs.

"Our extensive reseller network can facilitate penetration into specialised printing markets for Epson. All our resellers are backed by Synnex's comprehensive infrastructure, knowledgeable support and services," Synnex CEO, Kee Ong, said in a statement. "These enable our resellers with the right expertise and right product to advise their customers on specialised printing requirements.

"Synnex is working closely with Epson to ensure the just-in-time availability of these cost-effective, high-speed, large-format, colour printers to our resellers through a well planned and executed go-to-market strategy."

Epson Australia business unit manager, Craig Heckenberg, said it was aiming to grow within the specialised large format printing market segment.

Epson appointed Synnex as a distributor back in 2003.
