The Sony NEX-5 the PC Advisor Awards 2011 award for Best Camera.

A newcomer to the microFourThirds party, Sony showed other camera makers that a fixed-lens camera doesn’t have to be bulky. With a huge LCD at the back and a standard-issue 14-42mm lens attached, it weighs only 485g. Well balanced, with an intuitive onscreen menu and a top ISO rating of 12800, the NEX-5 won our hearts.

Runners up in the Best Camera are Leica X1, Panasonic Lumix DMC-G2, Olympus PEN E-PL1, Samsung NX10.
