WD releases 500GB, 750GB, 1TB and 2TB My Passport USB 3.0 portable drives

WD has released its next generation My Passport line of USB 3.0 portable hard drives in 500GB, 750GB and 1TB capacities.

The drives are now available in five colours: white, black, silver, blue, and red - and in capacities of 500GB, 750GB, 1TB and 2TB.

WD says the drive's cases are specially-engineered to make the outer shell more resistant to scratches and fingerprints. The My Passport external drives feature ultra-fast USB 3.0 connectivity; USB 2.0 compatibility; WD SmartWare continuous automatic backup software and WD Security for password protection and hardware encryption.

Each My Passport drive come with a 2-year limited warranty. Pricing for the various models from the WD Store is 500GB £74.99, 750GB £99.99, 1TB £108, 2TB - £249.99. All prices exclude VAT.
