HP to build new printer manufacturing facility in China

Electronics manufacturer Foxconn will build the new HP factory in Chongqing, China

Due to incorrect information provided by a Chinese government agency, the story "HP to build new printer manufacturing facility in China" posted to the wire on April 18, misstated some information about the new manufacturing facility.

The story has been corrected on the wire and the first paragraph now reads:

HP on Tuesday signed an agreement to set up a new printer manufacturing facility in the Chinese city of Chongqing, that is expected to produce around 15 million ink-jet printers per year once completed.

The third paragraph has been changed to read:

The manufacturing facility is expected to be completed by the end of the year, according to HP. The total value of HP products manufactured by the facility could range from US$1.2 billion to $2.5 billion.

The fourth paragraph has been deleted.
