Iiyama wins PC Advisor's Best Monitor award

PC Advisor Awards 2010: winners announced

The Iiyama ProLite E2208HDS has won the PC Advisor Awards 2010 - Best Monitor award, after being named as the best display to have come through the PC Advisor Test Centre over the past 12 months.

If you're in the market for a 22in HD flat-panel display, this is the one to choose. With a resolution of 1920x1080 and a tight 0.25mm dot pitch, the ProLite offers an excellent, crisp picture and wide viewing angles. This means it can serve double duty, handling everyday computer tasks and entertainment equally well.

Blu-ray movies and the latest games will look superb, while support for DCHP means it can play DRM-protected video content. One criticism of this great-value screen is that it's not height-adjustable, but this minor quibble wasn't enough to prevent it ruling the roost in our sub-£200 flat-panels chart for most of 2009.
