This will include Jetstar's network architecture, global procurement services, finance management, project change management and interface management.

The telco has been working with Jetstar since 2006 and will also continue to provide domestic and global voice, mobile and data services.

"By incorporating NAS as part of the new contract, there will now be a dedicated Telstra team working as an extension of our existing IT team. This puts us in a strong position to tailor our networks for future demand," Steve Tame, Jetstar CIO, said in a statement.

The contract is Telstra's largest global contract to date its first significant NAS contract in Asia.

"Asia is a key geographical market for Telstra, one where we have great success and a strong reputation. The region also represents a key pillar of growth for Telstra," Martijn Blanken, Telstra global managing director and CEO, said.
