NetApp promotes Manley to MD role

Storage and data management vendor, NetApp, has confirmed the promotion of Steve Manley to the role of A/NZ managing director.

Manley was previously NetApp's A/NZ commercial sales manager.

The appointment follows the exit of Peter O'Connor, who held the position from 2006 to September last year.

Since then, NetApp has been on the hunt for a suitable candidate to fill the role.

O'Connor now serves at Nimble Storage as its Asia-Pacific and Japan vice-president.

Manley started off in NetApp in 2008 as an account executive.

Prior to NetApp, he was a business development manager at Avnet Technology Solutions and a managed services general manager at Trilogy.
