On Wednesday Palm introduced the Pixi, a smaller sibling to company's Pre, and a phone that also uses webOS.

The Pixi is Palm's thinnest phone measuring less than half an inch thick. It weighs about 3 and half ounces. That's about 1 and a quarter ounces or about 35 grams lighter than the Pre.

It has a 2.6 inch multitouch display with a 320x400 pixel resolution. It also has a gesture area for navigation and an exposed QWERTY keyboard. Gesture controls allow users to scroll through photos and accomplish other tasks.
