Orange is the first UK network provider to offer a BlackBerry handset on a pay-as-you-go tariff.

The BlackBerry Pearl 8120 costs £145 and will be made available from next month on any existing PAYG tariff, although users will be required to pay a £5 monthly subscription charge.

The smartphone features a 2Mp camera with LED flash as well as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPRS connectivity.
