Samsung Galaxy S4 teaser image official

Mobile operator EE has announced the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be compatible with its 4G network.

It was pretty much a given, but EE has confirmed that Samsung's yet to be announced Galaxy S4 will come with 4G LTE. The only network in the UK to offer 4G mobile broadband made the announcement on Twitter. Follow and watch the launch here: Samsung Galaxy S4 launch: live.

EE said: "Ready for #TheNextGalaxy? It's coming to superfast 4GEE."

Along with the news was a teaser image of the Galaxy S4 - the same one which Samsung posted yesterday - and a link to EE's pre-registration page. See also: Samsung Galaxy S4 release date, specs and rumours.

Customers will also be able to use the Galaxy S4 on 3G on the Orange and T-Mobile networks owned by EE.

Samsung Galaxy S4 pre-registration pages have also appeared on the Three and Phones 4U websites. The latter also suggests the smartphone will come with 4G by asking customers if they are interested in 4G.

The Carphone Warehouse has also confirmed it will be selling the 'next Galaxy' device and has its own pre-registration page.

Plenty of information has been leaked about the hyped handset, especially in the last week. The Galaxy S4 is rumoured to have a 5in Full HD screen, Exynos 5 Octa processor, 13Mp rear camera and software features such as Smart Scroll and Smart Pause.
