Brits spend more than a month (34 days) playing with their smartphones when they should be working per year, says LG.
Research conducted by the smartphone manufacturer as part of a campaign to promote the LG Optimus 3D smartphone also revealed nearly two thirds (64 percent) of Brits admit to playing with their handset while in the office. Furthermore, one in ten even said they mess around with their devices when in meetings.
LG also said the toilet was named the most popular place for Brits to go to take a break with their smartphones, while a quarter of men also admitted to accessing “adult entertainment” from their handset and 62 percent of women claimed they have hidden a “secret text” message on their phone.
The LG Optimus 3D is a glasses-free 3D smartphone that offers 3D gaming and videos. It has a 4.3in 3D WVGA capacitive touchscreen, dual lens 5Mp camera which can record HD video in 3D, 8GB internal storage and runs Google Android 2.2.
It is available on contract from free and £449.99 SIM-free.
