The exclusivity deal is a global agreement and means that Vodafone is currently the only telco to offer the larger capacity handset in Australia. Both Telstra and Optus sell the smaller 16GB model of the Lumia 925.

Vodafone's general manager of devices, Katie Turkal, said the 32GB model was ideal for users who store videos and music on their smartphones.

The 32GB Lumia 925 is available now on a number of Vodafone plans, all over 24 months. The hero plan appears to be the $60 plan, which includes $700 worth of calls, unlimited SMS and MMS messages and 1.5GB of data per month.

Nokia announced the Australian launch of the Lumia 925 back in the first week of July.

In addition to availability through Vodafone, Optus and Telstra, the Windows Phone 8 device is currently sold through retailers Allphones, Dick Smith, JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Network Communications, Fone Zone and Leading Edge.
