The Lumia 925 will be available on a total of four Optus plans, all over 24 months.

Plans range from the $50 Optus My Plan with $8 handset repayment (totalling $58 per month), to the top $100 My Plan.

The hero plan appears to be Optus' $60 My Plan. This plan includes 600 minutes of standard national voice calls, unlimited standard SMS and MMS messages to Australian mobiles and 1GB of data per month.

Optus says it will aim to deliver the Lumia 925 to customers in metropolitan areas from Thursday, 1 August.

However, consumers in regional areas will have to wait up to a day later and the dates "are subject to change" according to the Optus Web site.

"For customers who pre-order by 29 July 2013, Optus aims to deliver the Nokia Lumia 925 from 1st August 2013 in Metropolitan areas and from 2 August 2013 in Regional areas," reads the Lumia 926 pre-order page.

"Delivery dates shown on this page are estimates only and are subject to change. In the meantime, cancellation fees may apply for your chosen rate plan."

Optus will also sell the Lumia 925 outright for $624.

Nokia announced the Australian launch of the Lumia 925 in the first week of July.

The Windows Phone 8 device is currently sold through retailers Allphones, Dick Smith, JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Network Communications, Fone Zone and Leading Edge.
