If the flagship HTC One smartphone is too expensive or too big for you then the HTC One mini might be the right choice for you. After weeks and months of speculation surrounding the new handset, it's finally arrived. See also: HTC One review: a fantastic high-end Android smartphone.

The HTC One mini smartphone will be on sale soon in black and silver so here's everything you need to know.

HTC One mini: Release date

We don't have an exact day on which the HTC One mini will be released. However, HTC has said that the HTC One mini will be available in select markets from August and rolled out globally from September.

Vodafone and O2 have both confirmed that the HTC One mini is 'coming soon' to their networks.

HTC One mini: Price

There is no official price for the HTC One mini yet but the firm told SlashGear that the smartphone will be "two price points below" the flagship HTC One. This should mean a mid-range price.

Essentially it will be more affordable, like the Galaxy S4 mini. HTC will have to compete with Samsung's handset which is priced at around £380 SIM-free so we expect it to get a similar price tag.

We've been vindicated by Mobile Fun which has the HTC One mini up for pre-order priced at £379.
