Yesterday, we reported that the iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 will get released in September. Well it's looking like it will be a busy month as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will join the party. It will be Samsung vs Apple once again.

The Galaxy Note 3 phablet will launch at a Samsung Unpacked event in Berlin on 4 September, according to Android Geeks which cites an unnamed 'person close to the matter'. This is two days before the technology show IFA starts, also in Berlin. See also: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Tab 3 to arrive in September at IFA.

It doesn't come as a big surprise as both the Galaxy Note 2 and original Galaxy Note were announced around the last two IFAs. The latest leaked photo of the supposed Galaxy Note 3 is shown above.

There have been plenty of rumours surrounding the Galaxy Note 3 including that it will use a metal designinstead of plastic and that it might feature a flexible screen. Both possible but we wouldn't be too surprised if these are off the mark.

More likely is that the handset will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor instead of an Exynos 5, 2GB of RAM and a 13Mp camera similar to that of the Galaxy S4.

Various different screen sizes have been bandied around for the Galaxy Note 3 with the two favourites being either 5.9in or 6.3in. We're expecting a Full HD resolution but we'll have to wait a couple of months before we find all the details and specs out for sure. See also: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 specs leaked.

We'll be heading over to IFA in September so look out for our coverage.
