Apple, on Defense, Slams Samsung (Wall Street Journal)

Apple's Phil Schiller has come out swinging in the last day. In interviews with both the Wall Street Journal and Reuters, Schiller lambasted Android's fragmentation issues, and quoted numbers saying that far more folks are switching to the iPhone from Android than vice versa. Inside sources tell me that this all part of a marketing stunt for a brand new energy drink Apple's developing: "The Phil 'er Up."

Apple now selling VESA mounts with new iMacs (Macworld UK)

If you've been leaving a nice big blank space on the wall to mount one of those brand new iMacs, you're now in luck. Apple's begun selling the latest incarnation of its desktop Mac with a VESA mount. I know a lot of supervillains who are going to be pretty psyched.

One user has launched a class action suit to bring Apple to justice for these display flaws, by arguing that users have no way to tell at the time of purchase whether they're getting the inferior LG display or the much better Samsung screen.
