The latest news on HTC's next flagship smartphone is that it will simply be called the HTC One rather than the M7. A new image of the device has been leaked on Twitter showing the HTC One running Android and the latest HTC Sense user interface. See also: HTC M7 to launch on 19 February.

It was the same Twitter account which leaked the previous images of the phone, originally codenamed the HTC M7. On Friday evleaks said: "HTC M7 coming to market as simply the HTC One."

It also claims that after the M7, or One, or whatever it ends up being called, will be two devices from HTC called the M4 and G2. The M4 will supposedly have a 4.3in screen, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 13Mp camera and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Meanwhile the G2 will have a 3.5in display, 1GHz processor and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Rumoured specifications for the HTC One include a 4.7in Full HD (1920 x 1080) screen and a 1.7GHz quad-core processor. This matches closely to the smartphones we saw announced at CES. Namely the Sony Xperia ZHuawei Ascend D2 and ZTE Grand S.

The information should be taken with a pinch of salt but it's worth noting that previous devices leaked on the Twitter account have been accurate, including the BlackBerry Z10.

All, or at least some, will be revealed next week since HTC is holding a launch event on 19 February prior to Mobile World Congress (MWC).
