Wish Factory's pop star-studded accessories brighten up CES

Wish Factory specializes in products for children and teens

While I may not be hip enough to listen to One Direction, I can definitely listen to tunes sporting earbuds that look like old-school phone cords. I took a break from walking the show floor at the CES Digital Experience on Monday to have some fun with some of the wackiest headphones and accessories in the hall. The Wish Factory's latest collection of earbuds, headphones, and iPhone cases provide a splash of style that is sure to turn heads.

On the audio front, I tried on the Pop Grrl Urban Animals headphones, a set of headphones with a soft animal print material, complete with plush animal ears on top. I actually found them quite comfy, even if I did feel a little like a member of Josie and the Pussycats. The headphones will be available this spring and will cost $20 a pop; pick either the Tiger, Zebra, or Pink Cheetah as your Pop Grrl spirit animal.

I also tried on the Scotty Bz Earbuds, which featured different cords that added a lot of flair. Designs include Zipped Up (a zipper), Checked Out (shoelaces), and Ring Tone (phone cord). The earbuds will also be available later this spring; price TBD.

And, finally, the iPhone cases. The Wish Factory features official merchandise for the popular boy band One Direction, including an exclusive line of iPhone cases. One even lights up with bright LED lights that change colors with incoming calls and texts. I've seen my fair share of phone cases, but never something quite like this. The case costs $20 and will be available this spring for the iPhone 4/4S.

The Wish Factory is a consumer marketing company that specializes in products for children and teens.
