iPhone 5 to launch in South Korea this week, more than 50 other countries to follow

Apple has announced that its iPhone 5 will be arriving in more than 50 new countries this month

Apple is set to launch its iPhone 5 in more than 50 additional countries including South Korea, Brazil, China and Russia this month, the company revealed in a press release today.

The iPhone 5, which launched in the UK, Australia, US, Canada and more on 21, and a week later, the device rolled out to 22 more countries including Italy, Portugal, Austria and Denmark.

On Friday, the iPhone 5 will arrive in South Korea, and more than 50 additional countries will also receive the device on 14 December and 21 December, including Brazil, China, Cyprus, Israel, Philippines, Russia, South Africa, Turkey, Barbados, Egypt, Kenya, Morocco, Tunisia, Uganda and Vietnam.

Following Apple's 14 December roll out, the iPhone 5 will be available in more than 100 countries in total.
