Full HD smartphone from HTC might arrive under different name
HTC has confirmed that its full HD smartphone with a few names, including the DNA and Deluxe, will not come to Europe.
The HTC Deluxe is the international version of the DNA handset which will launch in the US and the J Butterfly which will hit Japan. According to GSMArena, the Deluxe DLX is the international version but HTC said it won't arrive in Europe.
HTC responded on Facebook saying: "the deluxe is not, unfortunately, coming to Europe"
It possible, and what we're hoping, is that the HTC Deluxe will go on sale in Europe and the UK, just under a different name. The device would rival smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 since it has a 5in screen.
The 5in Super LCD3 display will use a full HD 1080p resolution and the Deluxe will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Krait 1.5GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. It will supposedly be available in black, white and brown.
