Samsung has announced its Galaxy S3 Mini smartphone will go on sale in the UK on 8 November.
The smaller and dulled down version of the flagship Galaxy S3 will be available from next Thursday from all major networks and also high street and online retailers. Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini owners will get free content and other perks. See also: Samsung Galaxy S3 vs Galaxy S3 Mini comparison review.
Simon Stanford, vice president of telecommunications & networks at Samsung, said: "Following the massive success and popularity of the Galaxy S III and all its features, we are confident customers will enjoy the Galaxy SIII Mini when it hits the shelves on the 8th November."
Samsung said the Galaxy S3 Mini will come with free content including Bejewelled 2 and The Sims 3. The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean smartphone will also benefit from two years' worth of 50GB storage with Dropbox. See Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini Specs.
The Galaxy SIII Mini uses a 4in screen, 1GHz dual-core processor and a 5Mp camera. Although its specs are lower than the flagship S3, it still comes with features like Direct Call, S Voice and Smart Stay.
