
Carphone Warehouse and O2 will stock LG Nexus 4 smartphone
Google's Nexus 4 smartphone, which is made by LG, has gone up for pre-order in the UK.
The Android 4.2 Jelly Bean smartphone is available to pre-order from Carphone Warehouse, the retailer which fully leaked the device before it was announced. UK mobile operator O2 has also confirmed it will be selling the LG Nexus 4. See also Google announces LG Nexus 4, Nexus 10 and new Nexus 7 models.
O2 said: "We’ll be selling it on our range of On & On Pay Monthly tariffs and it’ll be free on all tariffs from £36 a month up. Whichever On & On tariff you take, you’ll get unlimited calls and unlimited texts to anyone in the UK as well as 1GB of data."

The first 20 people in the queue at O2's 8am launch on 13 November at The O2 store will get their Nexus 4 at its exclusive pop up store on the roof of The O2. The first 50 in the queue will also get a free 32in TV.
Carphone Warehouse states the LG Nexus 4 will be shipped on 13 November, in line with Google's launch date. When it leaked the smartphone its launch date was today, 31 October.

Customers can get the Nexus 4 from Carphone Warehouse for free from £31 per month on the O2 or Vodafone networks. Alternatively it will be available from the Google Play Store for £239 SIM-free for the 8GB model.
Other specifications for the LG Nexus 4 include a 4.7in screen, quad-core processor, wireless charging and an 8Mp camera. Google also announced its Nexus 10 tablet and new Nexus 7 models.
