The smartphone industry’s worst kept secret has finally been made official as Google and LG launch the Nexus 4 Android smartphone. The news comes on the same day as the Windows Phone 8 launch live.
It’s been a crazy day for Google today, first it is forced to cancel its big showcase event due to safety concerns caused by Hurricane Sandy. Hurricane Sandy prevented Google from officially unveiling the Nexus 7 at the polished New York event that the search giant had planned, forcing the smartphone to be launched alongside the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets on the Google Blog. The Google Nexus 4 that launched today (29 October, 2012) comes with either 8GB or 16GB of storage and boasts specs including wireless charging; 8Mp rear facing camera; 4.7-inch screen (320 ppi); 2GB RAM. Google Nexus 4 price
