Apple Stores to start stocking iPhone 5 cases this month?

Apple has yet to offer iPhone 5 cases in its retail stores, but it looks like that is about to change

Apple Stores are expected to begin stocking iPhone 5 cases later this month.

9To5Mac reports that 'multiple sources' have said that Apple will be bringing third-party cases for its latest iPhone to its retail stores within weeks, which could be a welcome addition for many owners of the new device that have been complaining about the scratch-prone aluminium back plate.

Apple Store employees also seem to be happy to hear the news. "Good, now people can stop asking me about iPhone 5 cases," one said.

Accessory makers have been launching their iPhone 5 offerings on their own websites, but none have emerged in Apple Stores as yet, and Apple hasn't come up with a case of its own.
