Samsung leaks Galaxy Note 2 image?

Samsung leaks photo accidentally on Facebook of Galaxy Note 2

Samsung might have inadvertently posted a picture of its upcoming Galaxy Note 2 on Facebook.

The picture has been published on the Samsung Pakistan page with the caption 'Picture perfect view made even more perfect with Samsung Galaxy S3'. However, the smartphone is clearly not the Galaxy S3.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Many users pointed this out in the comments and the large screen on the device suggests it could be the Galaxy Note 2 which Samsung is planning to unveil on 29 August. At the time of writing the page is unavailable so maybe the error has been realised but Engadget bagged the image.

Little is known for sure about the Galaxy Note 2. Rumours suggest it will have a 5.3in unbreakable plane (UBP) display, longer battery life, better build quality and a quad-core processor. It is thought that Samsung is deliberately looking to launch the device around the same time as the Apple iPhone 5.

Samsung owners will be pleased to hear that the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note are set to get an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update this autumn.
