HTC's upcoming Desire C smartphone has been leaked by Vodafone in Portugal. See also HTC Desire C specs.
Budget Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone on its way
An image and specification of the Desire C, previously known as the HTC Golf, have been posted on Vodafone's Portuguese website. The listing was quickly removed but GSMarena grabbed some screenshots before it was gone.
From a design point of view it looks like what we thought the One V would look like, with a similar styling to the One S and One X. According to the screenshot, the Desire C will have a 3.5-inch screen with a resolution of 320 x 480.
It also has a 600MHz processor, 4GB of internal storage and a 5Mp rear facing camera. Even though the specifications are clearly budget level, the Desire C is running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
There's no release date yet and HTC doesn't comment on this kind of rumour or speculation so we'll have to wait and see. GSMarena has the Desire S pegged at less than €200.
