Rumor has it that the iPhone may be ditching the venerable dock-connector port that's adorned every model of iPhone and iPad--as well as most iPods--since 2003. More than anything, the concern seems to be that it takes up just too much darn space. But what might replace it? A micro-USB port? Thunderbolt? A smaller dock-connector port? Wireless syncing and charging? I say just make the whole thing a port.
