The enhanced War of the Lions version of Final Fantasy Tactics goes on sale Thursday for...$15.99. To put that into perspective, the game is going for $9.99 on the PlayStation Network, and the PSP version is also $9.99.
And it's not a universal app: The iPad version is still a month out.
Gamers have complained for years about the so-called "Square Enix tax," the term used to describe the higher prices for the publisher's DS games. And while I've never been one to decry games as too expensive, $15.99 makes the iOS version of The War of the Lions one of the most expensive games on the App Store. Is this too expensive for the iOS platform?
