Apple iOS 4.3.2 update addresses FaceTime, 3G shortcomings

Apple Thursday issued its iOS 4.3.2 mobile operating system release, an update designed to make FaceTime video calls and 3G wireless connectivity work better.

More specifically, the software update addresses FaceTime freeze-ups and problems international users were having connecting to 3G networks from their iPads.

The incremental release, which also incorporates security updates, is available  for the iPhone 4 GSM model, iPhone 3GS, all iPad tablets, and newer iPod touches. A separate software update, iOS 4.2.7, applies to Verizon CDMA iPhones.
