After years of unauthorized biographies, Steve Jobs has given an all-access pass to writer Walter Isaacson to chronicle the Apple co-founder and CEO's life and times in a volume titled iSteve: The Book of Jobs--and no, we haven't reached the punchline yet; please hold your laughs until the end. Isaacson, a former managing editor of Time, has also penned biographies of Albert Einstein and Benjamin Franklin, and was only picked after Jobs was told that Apple didn't have sufficient resources to resurrect James Boswell.

Why is it that people don't appreciate our growth? Why is it that people don't appreciate the fact that we spent the last four years going global? Why is it that people don't appreciate that we have 500 carriers in 170 countries with products in almost 30 languages?" Added Lazaridis, "I don't fully understand why there's this negative sentiment." Really? Because I've got an idea and it involves self-pitying questions.
