Leaked: Samsung, LG Windows Phone 7 handsets

LG accidentally announced phone before launch

Two new Windows Phone 7 handsets have been leaked online ahead of today's official launch of the Microsoft mobile phone operating system.

According to SamsungHub, the Samsung Omnia 7, which will also be known at the GT-I8700, is powered by the 1GHz Qualcomm QSD8250 processor and features a 4in Super AMOLED WVGA display.

Users will also benefit from Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, a 5MP camera with LED flash and the ability to capture HD video at 720p, as well as an 8GB internal memory, A-GPS and a FM radio.

Meanwhile LG accidentally leaked details of its LG Optimus 7 on its blog this morning. The blog has now been removed, but not before we could learn the handset boasts a 3.8in WVGA capacitive touchscreen and 16GB ofmemory.

Like the Samsung Omnia 7, it also comes with a 5MP camera with LED flash and ability to capture HD video, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. A digital compass and voice-to-text capability are among the functions on the smartphone, which measures 125x60x12mm.

Pricing and availability dates for both handsets were not made available.
