Two new HTC Desire phones listed on Amazon UK

Online retailer temporarily offers new handsets

Two new HTC smartphones have been temporarily listed on Amazon's UK site, leading to speculation that the handsets will soon hit UK shelves.

According to TechRadar, the HTC Desire Z, which is also known as the HTC Vision, was listed at the end of a search for 'HTC smartphones' on the online shopping site, with a pre-order price of £455.

Meanwhile, Electric Pig spotted the £415 HTC Desire HD listed on the site. However both listings have now been pulled by Amazon.

Rumours are circulating on the web that HTC plans to lauch two new versions of the Desire in the UK shortly

Earlier this month, both handsets were listed on Vodafone Germany's database.

The HTC Desire Z is thought to be a slider phone that comes complete with a QWERTY keyboard.

Amazon has yet to comment on the listing.
