Vodafone offering handset for free on £35 per month contract
The smartphone, which is an update on last year's BlackBerry Storm, features a 3.25in 360x480 touchscreen with an updated version of the BlackBerry SurePress technology, which provides tactile feedback when the touchscreen is pressed.
Wi-Fi connectivity will also be offered - a feature that was not available on the previous BlackBerry Storm model. Built-in GPS, 3G and Bluetooth connectivity will also be included.
The BlackBerry Storm2 will be available on Vodafone this month
The BlackBerry Storm2 has a 2GB internal memory that can expanded with a microSD memory card up to 32GB and also comes with a 3.2Mp camera with zoom, flash and video capture capabilities.
Vodafone said the BlackBerry Storm2 will be available free to users that take out a 24-month contract with 600 minutes of talk-time, unlimited texts and unlimited access to the web, at a cost of £35 per month.
