Samsung has unveiled a new smartphone, the Jet, which it claims offers users the "very best in speed, power, and dominant performance".
The touchscreen smartphone measures 109x54x12mm and features a 3.1in WVGA AMOLED display. Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync ensures users can access their email clients from the handset while HSDPA offers speedy internet access at a speed of up to 3.6Mbps.
The phone comes bundled with Samsung's Dolphin web browser that allows users to view up to five web pages at one time, bookmark their favourite websites as widgets on the phone's homepage and even block adverts.
Other features include a 5Mp camera with face detection and blink detection technology, video capture and playback capabilities, built-in AGPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The Samsung Jet has a 2GB internal memory and will also support microSD cards up to 16GB.
"Samsung Jet is about enabling aspirational and exciting lifestyles and setting people free - with viewing, sharing content, internet browsing, films and photos - all at unprecedented speeds for today's impatient consumers," said Mark Mitchinson, vice president, Samsung Mobile UK and Ireland.
Pricing and availability details have yet to be announced.
