Play.com offers unlocked iPhones

Free delivery but handsets start from £549

Play.com is offering Brits the chance to get the hands on a legally unlocked Apple iPhone that can be used on any network.

Both the 8GB and 16GB versions are available on the website, priced at £549.99 and £599.99 respectively. The handsets are only available in black and come with free delivery.

The web is rife with rumours that Apple intends to launch a new version of the mobile phone this summer. As well as being able to buy legally unlocked handsets, Brits have also seen network provider O2 slash the price of the handsets on a number of their contract plans.
