Orange wins third EU iPhone contract

Apple iPhone on sale in France in November

As expected, Orange has become the third European iPhone operator, announcing that it will offer Apple's handset exclusively in France.

Orange will start selling the iPhone in France in November, although has yet to announce a specific release date. Neither has it announced the price.

O2 will start selling the iPhone in the UK on November 9 for £269, while T-Mobile will offer it in Germany on the same day for €399 (£279). Some online reports suggest iPhone fans in France won’t be able to get their hands on Apple's phone until three weeks later.
