Sky TV comes to 3 mobile phones

Subscribe for £5 per month

Sky is offering 3 customers the chance to subscribe to a range of its mobile channels.

Three customers will now be able to subscribe to Sky Sports, Sky News, At The Races and CNN for a £5 monthly charge. The service will be hosted by Vidiator and outside of the 3 portal, which means consumers not on an unlimited data bundle will have to pay £2.50 extra per month to access the content.

The announcement means Sky content is now available on four out of the five major UK mobile network providers. O2 is the only network not offering Sky content.

David Gibbs, general manager of mobile for BSkyB, said: "We're excited to launch some of Sky's most popular live mobile TV channels on 3 UK. As we've seen since launching Sky Mobile TV in 2005, month after month Sky content continues to top the mobile channel rankings."
