Vodafone launches e-book service for mobiles

Download titles from Books on Mobile! website

Vodafone has launched a new service that allows customers to download e-books to their mobile phones.

Books on Mobile! is a joint venture with Gospoken. Vodafone users simply visit the Gospoken website where they can choose from hundreds of titles and download from publishers including Penguin and Harper Collins. Audio books are available initially, and e-books will become available in the next two weeks. The books cost between £5 and £15 and will be charged to a user's mobile phone bill.

Free e-book and audio samplers will also be available to download and will include two chapters of Seven Troop - the latest release from Andy McNab.
