Steve Jobs shows off new iPhone and iPod games

Apple's App Store has delivered more than 100 million applications since it first went online in July.

Steve Jobs revealed at Apple's ‘Let's Rock' event on Tuesday that over 3,000 applications are listd on the App Store, which available in 62 countries.

The Apple CEO said games were among the most popular products on the App Store, and the company's senior VP of worldwide product marketing, Phil Schiller, demonstrated Spore Origins at the Apple event. More than 700 games are available on the App Store

Also coming soon to the App Store are an as-yet unreleased iPhone version of Iron Man, based on the popular movie, Gameloft's Real Soccer 2009 and a version of EA's popular Need for Speed racing game franchise.
