Apple Premium Reseller Cancom will host two free events for teachers aimed at helping them get the best out of the iPad 2 as well as many iPad apps.
The first event will take place at Wandsworth City Learning Centre on 1 July and will contain several sessions to help educators utilise the iPad 2 in the classroom.
Cancom Education Specialist Andrew Goodgame will discuss using the iPad 2 as a content creation device, capturing and editing video and creating animations on the device. There'll also be a hands-on workshop and a presentation about teaching with technology.
On 4 July Cancom will be hosting an event at Eton College, where guest speaker Abdul Chohan, the Director of Essa Academy will explain how his school now achieves a 99 percent pass rate after iPads were issued to all staff and students.
The day will also include a hands-on workshop where attendees can create projects in a typical classroom environment, as well as advice on using the iPad 2 as a content creation device.
