Toshiba launches World Cup money-back offer

Get a refund if Englands win in South Africa

Toshiba is following in the footsteps of Elgato and offering Brits the chance to claim back the cost of selected Toshiba products if England win the World Cup.

As part of its 'England Expects' promotion, anyone who purchases a 32in or above Toshiba Regza full HD TV or any Toshiba laptop with an Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processor between April 12 and June 10 will be entitled to a full refund should England win the tournament.

To be eligible for a refund, consumers must register their purchase at Toshiba's dedicated website within seven days of the sale. They will then have 21 days from the day of the final, July 11, to claim their money back if England lifts the trophy.

"This summer we will see one of the world's most important football events and we wanted to do as much as we could to demonstrate our passion and really get behind the England team," said Matt McDowell, marketing director at Toshiba.

"The England team has a great chance at this year's tournament, and as official consumer electronics supplier, we'll be supporting them all the way."
