Asus Eee PCs to get bigger keyboards

Eee PC 904 and 905 to use bigger chassis

Asus is planning larger keyboards for its Eee PC range, with new Eee PC 904 and 905 models in the works that could soon replace the current 8.9in versions of the popular mini-laptop range.

Digitimes reports that the Eee PC 904 and 905 will use the same chassis and keyboard as Asus' 10.2in models – such as the Eee PC 1000 – but will stick with the 8.9in display used in the current generation.

They'll feature Intel's Atom processors, and will eventually replace Asus' current 8.9in mini laptopss, according to Digitimes.

Asus launched the first Eee PC last year. It featured a 7in screen and used an Intel Celeron processor.
