Orange to offer 3G deal with MacBook

Apple laptop will be heavily discounted on two-year contract

Orange may soon be offering mobile broadband deals that come with Apple MacBooks.

According to Mobile Today, a deal between Apple and the mobile network provider that will see the MacBooks bundled with an Orange 3G dongle is close to completion.

Orange currently offers a number of mobile broadband deals that bundle laptops from manufacturers such as Toshiba.

Although these laptops are normally free, the higher-priced MacBooks are unlikely to be.

Mobile Today said it expected them to be "heavily discounted for customers that commit to a two-year mobile broadband contract", however.

Orange's MacBook-bundled mobile broadband contracts are expected to be available later this year.
