Verizon and Capita were the latest suppliers to be announced, according to a contract award notice. Dell, Eduserv, Fujitsu, HP, Liberata and Logicalis have previously been revealed as suppliers on the framework.
Under the contract, the suppliers will provide data network management and support services, servers, data management services, data storage services, systems and support systems to JANET and other organisations connected to Janet.
The services will also comprise co-location equipment, virtual servers, Infrastructure-as-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS).
The total contract value is estimated to be worth between £10 million and £50 million.
