More than a third of Brits admitted to accessing work-related emails during the Christmas period, says TalkTalk.
Research by the ISP revealed that despite being on holiday, the workaholics spent on average three hours and 18 minutes dealing with work issues.
Furthermore, one in ten of those said they spent over ten hours of their time working from during the Christmas holidays.
TalkTalk also revealed that watching TV on the web was increasing in popularity, with 20 percent of Brits admitting to using the internet to view their favourite TV shows over the festive period, while 19 percent said they played online games.
Over half of Brits (57 percent) said they used the web during the Christmas break to email friends and family, while 40 percent said they used social networks such as Facebook during the Christmas break.
Mark Schmid from TalkTalk said: "As recently as 10 years ago most of our time over the festive period was spent with our nearest and dearest, or slumped in front of the telly".
"Now we're spending big chunks of our Christmas time playing games online, watching TV over the internet or social networking."
