News: Banks could pass on phishing losses to customers
The failure of customers to secure their own money during internet transactions could potentially lead banks to pass off the responsibility of financial losses back to the customer. User education for online banking customers on how to avoid phishing scams has failed, according to Paul Henry, senior vice president of Secure Computing. This form of commonsense defence has failed to work time and time again, he added.

YouTube will start displaying a notice in Japanese on its website warning users against uploading copyright content, its two founders told representatives of a broad group of Japanese copyright holders today.

News: 40% of US youngsters have seen web pornography
According to a study published yesterday, about 40 percent of American youngsters age aged between 10 and 17 years claim to have seen pornography on the internet. Two-thirds of respondents said the adult images were thrust upon them uninvited.
