News: Wikipedia attacked by Larry Sanger
The education secretary, Alan Johnson, has come under fire for saying the Wikipedia is 'a force for good'. The site's own co-founder, Larry Sanger, said that the community that produces Wikipedia was "often dysfunctional", the content was unreliable and that Wikipedia had serious management problems.

More than 2,000 unique websites have been rigged to exploit the animated cursor security flaw in Microsoft's software, according to security vendor Websense.

Apple has published a firmware update for its Airport Extreme Base Station that fixes two security flaws in the Wi-Fi router.

News: Google admits copying Sohu's software
After evading the question for four days, Google conceded yesterday and admitted in a blog post that developers at Google China had copied part of a software tool from rival Chinese internet company Sohu.com for one of its own products. But Google later said the database was used unintentionally.
